Apprentice prevailing-wage rates

DIR publishes apprentice prevailing-wage rates as their own schedule, with one row per apprenticeship period. Each period has its own basic rate and its own fringe. Pension often starts at a later period, and health & welfare steps up partway through. Until now STrOp had nowhere to put that schedule, so apprentice hours on a public-works job showed needs apprentice rates on Compliance and were never checked.

Import it the same way. Go to Settings → Wage determinations, choose Import from PDF, and pick the DIR "General Prevailing Wage Apprentice Rates" PDF for your craft. STrOp reads every period exactly as printed. It never works them out from the journeyman rate, because the fringe doesn't scale that way. It then offers the journeyman determination that covers the same counties. Check the rows and choose Attach apprentice rates.

From then on, an apprentice's hours are checked against the rate for their period, the same way journeyman hours are. The period comes from the worker's classification, such as Apprentice — Period 3.
