Confetti that clears

Sending a bid out sets off a short burst of confetti and a "Bid out" toast. The page refreshing right after the save was cutting the burst off mid-air — the last frame stayed painted over the screen, and the toast never went away.

• The burst runs to the end and wipes itself clean, whatever the page does underneath it.
• The toast dismisses after seven seconds, as it always meant to.
