Certified payroll now reports your fringe

DIR's certified payroll has five fringe columns, and until now we sent 0.00 in every one. On a prevailing-wage job that's an incomplete record — the kind an auditor flags.

Filled in for you. Each worker's fringe comes from their labor agreement — the rate in effect for that pay week, for the classification they actually worked. A worker who put in time as both journeyman and foreman gets two rows, each at its own rate. A raise that starts mid-year shows up the week it starts, not before.

Paid in cash? Nothing to the funds. If your fringe declaration says you pay fringe in cash — for the whole shop or one craft — those columns report 0.00, because the fringe is already in the wage.

Fix one when it's off. On the run's deduction grid, the five new hourly columns show the agreement rate in grey. Type over one to change it for that run; clear it to go back to the agreement. The XML, the printable A-1-131 and the CSV export all carry what you see.
