Foremen are checked against the prevailing-wage floor

DIR determinations publish the journeyperson rate for a craft. They don't list a foreman, but a foreman is still owed at least that rate.

  • Foremen get a floor. When the determination has no foreman row, the foreman is checked against the journeyperson rate. That applies on the Compliance dashboard, in certified payroll's below-floor list and in the warnings when a timecard is submitted. A foreman paid under it now shows red, with the back pay owed, instead of "unrated".
  • Apprentices say what's missing. Apprentice floors come from DIR's separate apprentice determinations. Until those are loaded, the dashboard says so instead of a bare "unrated".
  • Voided timecards leave the worker card. After you void and replace an approved card, the worker's Recent timecards shows only the replacement, not both.
