Price labor lines straight from your production rates
The LD calculator on a labor line now starts from your production rates.
- Pick a rate. You only see rates in the line's unit, so no SF rate on an LF line. Picking one fills daily production at the line's shift length: 190 SF/day at 8 hours becomes 237.5 on a 10-hour shift. The labor cost is then priced at this bid's labor rate.
- Adjust for the job. Enter a conditions % and a reason, for example −15% for an occupied school. The library keeps the normal-conditions number, and the adjustment stays on this bid.
- Save to library. Priced something new, or learned something? Save the line's production to the library. It goes into that task's history with the conditions adjustment taken out. Tick make current to adopt it as the rate. A line with no matching task creates a new one.
Each line remembers which rate it came from. If the library rate changes later, the calculator tells you, but nothing reprices on its own. Pick the rate again to update the line. Revisions and alternates' credit lines carry the link with them.
