Jobs outside your home time zone keep their own clock
Each job can set its own time zone. On the project form, next to State, there is a Time Zone picker. Leave it on Company default and the job stamps in your company's zone, as before. Set it, and everything that stamps or buckets field time on that job uses it instead: the timecard's "Today", the daily report's check stamps and submitted/approved times, which day a photo lands on in the photo log and the photo report, the scan-a-label timecard form's default date, and the Application Date on the pay-app cover.
Why it matters. Timestamps are stored as instants; the calendar day they belong to depends on where the job is. A check logged at 8:30pm in Honolulu was already the next day on a California screen, and the pay-app application date was pinned to Pacific time no matter where the work was. Now the job says where it is and the paperwork follows.
What's prefilled. Typing a State on a new job suggests that state's usual zone (HI → Honolulu, AZ → Phoenix, CO → Denver, and so on). You can always pick another. Existing jobs are untouched — they stay on your company's zone until you set one.
Not affected. Goals and reporting periods stay on the company's zone: a reporting week is the office's week, whichever jobs are in it.
