RFIs: room to write, every detail in one place, and a printable RFI
The question gets room. A new RFI's Question was a one-line field. Anything longer than a sentence scrolled off to the side. It's now a full-width box that grows as you type, like the scope narrative on a proposal.
Open an RFI to see all of it. Click the subject, or the ▶ at the start of the row, to open the RFI. You'll see the whole question, the answer if there is one, and the references the RFI form never asked for: spec section, drawing / detail, ball in court, and priority. Edit any of them and save.
Print it or save it as a PDF. Print / PDF opens the RFI on your letterhead:
- To: the GC, attention to whoever has the ball
- Re: the project and the RFI subject
- The response-due date and the references
- Your question in full
- A blank response box and signature lines, so a marked-up reply comes back on the same page
Save it as a PDF from your browser's print dialog and attach it to your email to the GC.
